Wednesday Boozin' on the Cheap

Sometimes you need a little liquid encouragement to push you over the Hump(day). Two places in Durham to enjoy great beer on the cheap and celebrate the end of mid-week: Motorco and Surf Club.

Both are located on Rigsbee Avenue (aka the Fullsteam neighborhood).

Motorco features Pint Night on Wednesdays, with select discounted brews on draft, displayed below in chalk.

Pair a cheap beer with a Free Hug

Right down the road from Motorco is one of my favorite, more recent discoveries: Surf Club. A little edgier than its Rigsbee companions, Surf Club has great character with a welcoming dive bar atmosphere.

A varied beer selection that rotates frequently, Wednesday night at Surf Club has all drafts for 3 bucks!

You can't go wrong with either place on a Wednesday night in the Bull City. So really, why not visit both!? The price is right.
