Deli-icious Truck

Crab Quesadilla with Black Beans

Putting the Deli in delicious (or is it the icious?), Deli-icious has more going for it than just cleverly hyphenated word play.

This truck puts out a solid lunch spread that goes beyond standard deli style sandwiches.

The afternoon I visited them for lunch in the RTP section of Durham, their chalk and dry erase menu boards included two different side option (pictured below are the herb and garlic roasted potatoes with shaved parm), a choice of crab/chicken/veggie quesadilla served with black beans, as well as an assortment of panini sandwiches, including options that were vegetarian-friendly.
Herb and Garlic Roasted Potatoes.
HUGE shavings of Parmesan
Ham, Bacon, Caramelized onions, Spinach.
With carrot sticks!
I went with the Crab Quesadilla, and was not disappointed. As you can see from the large hunks of crab meat peeking out from the griddled tortilla, they did not skimp on the crustacean portion.

The farmers cheese melted within the quesadilla also added a unique flavor element that was different from the standard cheddar/mexican blend. Not pictured was a homemade salsa verde served on the side, providing a spicy yet pleasant kick.

Give Deli-icious a follow on Twitter to get updates on when and where they'll be in the Triangle next.
